Great view over Fingal Beach, the lunch special was good value at $20 with a beer or wine. The burger and fish and chips we had were good.
Beautiful location on the beach, nice atmosphere, and very friendly service; even if the single room is too big and can be quite noisy. Limited, but well selected, wine list. Considering the location more seafood in the men would be appreciated.Good price / quality ratio
Beautiful venue with gorgeous views and lovely attentive staff. But to be honest I was disappointed with my main meal. I had the seafood plate which in my opinion was over priced at $40 for what was on the plate. However to be fair it was suppose to come with 3 fresh oysters but because I don't like them they said they would swap them for something else. I don't doubt they did that but I wasn't sure what they swapped it with. I also had the sticky date pudding which was really lovely. Having said this, it was by no means an unpleasant experience and i would definitely dine there again and try something else on the menu.
Beautiful view, delicious food, excellent service. A bit pricey but worth it. My scallop entree was cooked to perfection and the accompanying corn puree added another layer of flavour. Sizes are generous. Be warned, you may have to share an entree and select a smaller main in order to fit in dessert. (View from around the bend, similar to venue)
We had our wedding dinner here at salt water restaurant last night. We booked at late notice for a large group and they went out of their way to help us. The food was amazing and the customer service was outstanding. The venue has the most amazing view. Thank you to Dave and the whole staff for helping us have the most amazing wedding day. We appreciate everything you did for us and we can not speak highly enough of you food, service and hospitality.
